Jinvani Systech has launched the Microsoft Vista compatible version of PCI Dual Host Controller with a new Embedded CPU Interface.

Jinvani Systech is shipping a PCI-based host controller board intended for use as an SD/SDIO development platform for embedded system and device applications. The "SD Gold Host V2" supports windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux, among other embedded OS.

The SD Gold Host II provides two SD/SDIO slots said to support most types of SD/SDIO cards, including WiFi, Bluetooth, modem, GPS, and LAN adapter SDIO cards. The slots also support SD memory, Jinvani says.

The "production quality" SD/SDIO Host controller board is capable of 200 Mbps data transfer rates, and enables multiple bus configuration modes. It also supports booting of the system OS directly from SD memory.
